On one cruise with NCL in 2002, we were on the Norwegian Sea (smaller ship) and out cabin ended up being a few doors down from the kids' camp. So you were on the same deck as the casino? We are not on the same level, but we are on the deck right above, and our cabin is right above the casino. Now I do a lot of research before I select my cabin. I will always be sandwiched between two cabins. Carnival credited us $150 per cabin, but never never again. If I had been aware of the one man band who could not sing, just yell and played till all hours of the night (at least 3 am), I would have changed cabins before I cruised. We were on the Carnival Pride several years ago and had two cabins just slightly beyond the entrance to the casino on Deck 6.
